Babylon Is Not Just an Ancient Empire
Babylon is not an ancient empire buried in the sand. It is a spiritual system, and it might be living inside of you. Today, I’m going to show you how to recognize this system of pride, and more importantly, how to get out of it before it’s too late.
In Genesis 11, Babylon represents humanity approaching God on its own terms. In Jeremiah 50:38, it is described as a land of idols. Babylon is man’s effort to build heaven without surrender.
Jerusalem represents alignment with God’s covenant, His presence, and His order flowing from Zion, according to Micah 4:2.
A Crisis of Identity
We must confront a painful truth. Much of the body of Messiah is suffering from a crisis of identity.
By abandoning Jerusalem and our Hebraic roots, we have unknowingly adopted the identity of Babylon. This deception is great.
When we strip Yeshua of His Jewishness, disconnect from the biblical feasts for shadows of idolatry, and treat grace as an excuse for lawlessness rather than the power for obedience, we aren’t just changing traditions We are changing our spiritual identity.
Identity Is the Compass of the Soul
Identity is like the compass of the soul. It defines who you are, what you value, and why you exist.
When that identity is severed from its Hebrew Bible roots, the body becomes chronically ill. We see the symptoms everywhere, a plague of confusion, the ache of emptiness, and a spirit crippled by anxiety and fear.
We aren’t just stressed, we are rootless.
Come Out of Her, My People
Revelation 18:4 says,
“Come out of her, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins.”

Notice He says, “My people.” They are living within a system that is harming them.
Babylon is a foundation built on mixture and distortion. It can quote scripture while removing it from its context.
It can speak the language of faith while redefining its meaning. Division, confusion, and endless competing interpretations are symptoms of a fractured foundation.
The Need for Divine Instruction
We are of a big need of divine instructions and guidance, and someone that will point the way out of this.
In Hebrew, there is a word Torah. It means instruction or teaching. It comes from a root word that means to guide or to point the way. It is not simply a list of laws, it is God’s instruction in righteousness.
Yeshua and the Writings of Moses
In John 5:46–47, Yeshua says,
“If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”
John 5:46–47
Yeshua makes it clear the writings of Moses, what we call the Torah, is about Him.
Apostle Paul wrote,
“All scripture is useful for teaching us, for correcting us, and for training us how to live right.”
2 Timothy 3:16
But what happens when we walk away from these instructions?
The Bible calls that Lawlessness.
Lawlessness and the Way of God
The Bible says sin is lawlessness. Lawlessness is simply living disconnected from God’s instructions. It’s trying to follow God while ignoring His map.
This can even happen in a worship service. We can sing the Psalms, but if we ignore His ways, we are being lawless.
Yeshua warned us about this. He said,
“Because lawlessness will increase, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:12
When we throw away God’s instructions, we are actually throwing away His heart. You cannot truly love God if you do not care about how He tells us to live.
The Great Shaking and the Call to Repentance
So how does deliverance come?
A great shaking has started. They are the mercies calling the foundation to be rebuilt, for many have built their lives inside the Babylonian system, learning its ways, speaking its language, calling mixture grace and lawlessness freedom.
This is the hour of decision to repentance.
Two Paths Before You
There are two paths before you.
One is the path of faithful obedience, to hear His voice and move even when understanding sometimes fails, to leave the house of the traditions of men and the gods you did not choose and did not even know they worked in the background.
Abraham left the system of Babylon to follow Yahveh alone.
The other path is fire.
If the call is ignored, the fire will speak. Systems will collapse. Security will be stripped away. What can be shaken will be shaken until only one option is left, to humble ourselves.
Repent and Return to the True Gospel
Repent, for you will not be rescued into emptiness, but into purpose, into the Father’s plan, into the true gospel made in Zion, into obedience empowered by faith, Torah written on the heart, walked out by the Spirit as Yeshua Himself walked.
This is freedom.
Choose Now: Come Out of Babylon
Choose now. Come out of Babylon. Return to Jerusalem and to the Father and live.
